¡¡Ya tengo billete de avión para Sheffield!! Al final voy el 17 de septiembre: el avión sale a las 11:40 de Mallorca y llego a Manchester sobre las 13:05 (hora local) . Me he apuntado al servicio de recogida de la universidad, así que gente de allí me vendrá a buscar a la terminal de llegadas e iré hacia Sheffield en autocar (un par de horitas). Una vez allí sólo me quedará recoger las llaves de mi cuarto y empezar a colocar mis trastos jeje. Todo esto en un mes...

I've finally bought my plane ticket!! I'm leaving on September 17th at 11:40 from Mallorca and I will be arriving to Manchester at 13:05 (local time). There I will be met by people from the University of Sheffield and we'll be going there by coach (a trip that will take a couple of hours). Once in Sheffield, I just need to collect my room keys and start placing my things xD... all this will take place in just a month...

¡¡Por fin empiezo con mi blog sobre mi experiencia en Sheffield!! Bienvenidos!! De momento ya está casi todo listo, al final estaré en la residencia Stephenson Hall, de la
que pongo una foto (la única que he encontrado por internet...). Lo único malo es que no me han dado un cuarto con baño propio, así que habrá que compartirlo. Pero al menos creo que hay sala de ordenadores, que era algo importante.

Así que ahora sólo falta aprobar Fonética 2 en septiembre, comprar un billete de avión, elegir las asignaturas (que ya están decididas) y algunos detallitos más. Pero vamos, que será acabar de trabajar en el aeropuerto y coger el avión camino a Sheffield!!! Ya falta poco más de un mes!!!





At last I begin my blog about my experiences in Sheffield, welcome!! Now almost everything is finally prepared: I will be staying in Stephenson Hall (see photo above), which is an old but beautiful building, it seems...The only bad thing about it is that I haven't been given an en-suite room, which means that I will have to share the bathroom with the rest of people in my corridor. But at least there is a computer room, something that will be essential for me while I'm there.

So now I just need to pass my Phonetics II exam, choose a flight and buy the ticket, confirm the subjects I'll be doing there and some other stuff. Anyway, I just need to keep on working at the airport until September 15th and then...straight to Sheffield!!!
